Tatum O’Neal was arrested Sunday in New York City, busted for buying crack cocaine at about 7:30 p.m. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The New York Post has reported that Tatum O’Neal reportedly told officers, “You know who I am, right?” And said that she was “researching a part – I’m doing this for a part as a junkie.” Yeah. That’s it. She also asked detectives, “Can’t we just forget about this?”
