American supermodel Marisa Miller tops the Maxim Hot 100 List for 2008, knocking Lindsay Lohan down to ninth place!

This was the first time that Marisa Miller, 29, has ever appeared on the Hot 100 List. Marisa is a Victoria’s Secret model and has also been on the cover of the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

“Not since Cindy Crawford ruled the catwalk has a pinup born and bred on U.S. soil so thoroughly captured the imagination of the American male,” noted Maxim editorial director James Kaminsky.

And hottie Marissa humbly says of her career, “I get a kick out of it, but it would be stupid to let it go to my head. It’s modeling—I didn’t find the cure for cancer.”
