Dina Lohan, recently crowned Mom of the Year, is stepping forward and denying that her daughter, Lindsay, is a lesbian.

Rumors have been flying around that Lindsay and her BFF, Samantha Ronson, are in a cozy relationship. Ronson is openly gay and the two were spotted getting cozy in France.

Dina and little sis Ali have come forward to speak out on Lindsay’s behalf.

“Samantha’s an amazing girl,” Dina said. “It’s so silly. We actually laugh about it now. It really does hurt… but you develop a thick skin. You have to ignore it.”

Ali adds, “They’re best friends. They’re just friends. It’s pathetic what people say.”
