Josh Groban Admits to Smoking Pot

Golden voiced Josh Groban has admitted in an interview that he’s smoked pot. This seems to contradict his squeaky clean image, but maybe we had Josh Groban pegged wrong.

Josh Groban reminisces with his drummer in the interview about being in Amsterdam — and the details are fuzzy, including:

“We were in that café”—he pauses meaningfully—”uh, for coffee. And, um, it was on TV and we’re like, ‘Oh, bowling’s on!’ And then, like, an hour later we were like—he affects a stoner voice straight out of a Harold & Kumar movie—”‘Look at the way they’re squatting!’”

With an amusing bowling story like that, it sounds like Josh Groban could be a pothead.

    i do not think that josh is a pot head now or ever . He probably has smoked pot at one time or another. he is now realizing the thing that can ruin his future. He has make a few bad choices alone the way, however they are now catching up with him,big time. he is not a dummy tbat knows no better,so i,m just going to trust his better judgement on all these nega- tives that seem to keep creeping into his life and thank God for a father like his He will come out of this with flying colors,i’m sure of that

    Where is everyone getting “Josh smokes pot” from this interview???? He never even alluded to him smoking pot or doing any drugs in that quote. People need to get their heads on straight. Josh. HAS. A. DRY. SENSE. OF. HUMOR! I’m sure he’s done some bad things in the past, but pot is not one of them! Good lord. Stop reading between the lines. There’s nothing there.

    I think you should’ve thought twice before titling this entry “Josh Groban Admits to Smoking Pot” without including a reliable quote from Josh himself saying that he has, in fact, smoked pot. I’m not one of those trying to paint Josh as an angel because I know he is not and I don’t want him to be. I have been a fan of his for years and he has said numerous times that he does not intend to do drugs because that will hurt his voice, and he knows which side his bread is buttered on. Come on people, the man is not an idiot. I am confident that this story was intended as a joke, and nothing more. Stop trying to dig up some scandal on Josh, because you won’t find one. He’s not going to ruin himself.

    lol ok im a huge fan of josh groban and i intend to marry him someday and i think its totally hilarious the way the grobanites piss themselves with outrage every time ANYONE says ANYTHING even REMOTELY insulting about josh groban, its just funny.

    and they start talking about how hes a gift from god and he inspires millions of people and blaaaaa jesus i almost thought these comments were jokes (although i do still think the first one is, that shit is lol XD)

    and how does admitting he smoked pot ONCE mean hes going to ruin himself ? wtf seriously

    so what if they intentionally wrote the article to make it seem like hes a pot head? its funny! even if he was, who cares? thats funny too! haha!
