Fake Dollar Bills to Burn
Or at least we feel more like it now!

Six sets of slow-burning wax-coated $100 bills cost $14.95, so if you’re living with your grandma but wanna get the luxurious feel of starting fire with dollar bill, make sure she’s doesn’t confuse between that stash with this stash….wait, there’s no that stash, is there? IS THERE?!

Lock Cup Thwarts Mug Theives

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

mycup.jpg

There is a mug stealing epidemic running rampant in offices all across the world, and one savvy inventor aims to put a stop to the rash of robberies with the Lock Cup, which deters theft by rendering the mug useless unless the designated key is in the side to fill the hole.

I keep my Golden Girls collectable mug under lock and key whenever I’m not drinking from it, so I don’t have this problem, but I see how it could appeal to some business types. Now all they need to do is invent a lockable tuna sandwich so that douchebag Gerald from accounting will stop stealing my lunch. Eff you Gerald, you sandwich stealing son of a bitch.

Man Uses Balloon Power To Fly

Sunday, July 6th, 2008

flying balloon man.jpg

Kent Couch of Central Oregon finally succeeded on the third attempt to fly his balloon contraption out of the state, going some 300 miles before touching down in Idaho. The Associated Press reported that dozens of supporters were on hand and local media outlets also covered the event.

Big deal. Wasn’t the hot-air balloon invented and perfected at like the turn of the century. Maybe next this guy can invent a thing you sit on and pedal and the wheels go around and you go forward. Or maybe he’ll strap two flat pieces of wood to his feet and use them to slide down a mountain. From now on when somebody makes the news for something totally unworthy, it should be called ‘pulling a Kent Couch’. And while I’m making up rules, the new name for gravy will be Heaven Sauce.

Anti-Paparazzi Sunglasses

Friday, June 27th, 2008

I’m pretty sure that if celebrities weren’t living off the fame paparazzi’s granted them, they would be all wearing those anti-paparazzi sunglasses, basically killing the whole industry, including this almighty, forever-there blog.

But they are - so I don’t think they will wear these, but if for some reason someone wants to go underground, or is just sick of the paprazzi, like say if Britney Spears suddenly becomes a good singer again (?) and doesn’t need to flash her vagina for attention, she can find this video useful.

Top iPhone Skin Designs

Do you have an iPhone or have your eyes set on buying the new iPhone 3G? Well if you do, did you know that you can differentiate yourself from the masses with an iPhone skin? Not only do these vinyl skin covers protect your phone against scratches, they also give a whole new identity to the device. For less than $10, an iPhone skin adds color to the back of the phone (some also include images for the front) and an electronic image for the phone background

My top five favorite iPhone skin designs come from Urban Retro. This site incorporates well-known artists and their pieces into the iPhone design. Check out the iPhone skin designs (more…)

New iPhone 3G Set to Release in Early July

iPhone 3G

Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone 3G on Monday. This new version of the iPhone is cheaper, thinner, sleeker, and faster than its earlier counterpark.

What’s New?

  • 3G. The iPhone 3G will support the faster 3G (third-generation) broadband wireless networks.

  • Maps with GPS. The iPhone comes with built-in GPS to navigate when driving. Just find your address, get directions, and track progress along your route.
  • iPhone in Enterprise. Get push email, calendar, and contacts with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
  • Better Battery. Another upgrade over the older version, the iPhone 3G comes with a better battery life. This upgraded battery comes with a talk time of five hours, stand-by time of 300 hours, six hours of high-speed browsing time, 20 hours of audio and seven hours of video.
  • Two Colors. The iPhone 3G comes in two colors - black and white. The white is only available on the premium edition.

Best of all is the new price point. After Apple discovered that 56% of people surveyed wouldn’t buy the earlier iPhone because they found it expensive, the company opted to lower prices on the new 3G model. The 8G-byte model will sell for $199 and the 16G-byte model for $299.

The iPhone 3G is set to hit stores on July 11, 2008.

The Infection Watch

The Infection Watch - Picture
I know what you’re thinking, but taking a little break from celebrity gossip & babe photoshoots to enjoy the geekery in this world is good.

This is the Infection Watch, a watch that a guy like would probably never know how to read, actually looking at the picture above - it doesn’t even look like a watch, which is even better, because people won’t be looking at you as if you were a zombie..just make sure you don’t look at it, trying to figure the time.

Anyway, it works like this: 27 multi-colored LEDs “pulsate and move like cells across the curved face to present the time from beneath the attractive mirrored mineral crystal lens”, the red LED’s indicate the hours, the greens ones are for..check this out: 5 minute units, and the yellow ones are for minutes.

So the time now is…

Samsung SLIQ Cell Phone

Samsung SLIQ Cell Phone Pictures, Details, Price
Let’s face it - this place was never intended to be about cell phones, design or technology, but you gotta admit there’s a geek in every pervert, or vice versa.

Samsung SLIQ is just a concept for now, but boy don’t we wish this thing does become a cell phone eventually; designer Mike Serafin puts emphasis on sleek, tough look, while manufacturer Samsung focused on creating an advanced touch interface, just like in LG Prada and in the Apple iPhone.

Here are some raw details: 2.0-megapixel camera, extra wide LCD screen, a video play, MP3 player, music multitasking function, document view capability and…catch this: a super thin 10mm design!

Retail price and release date are still unknown, one more picture and details (more…)

Chocolate Bubble Wrap

Wednesday, April 11th, 2007

Thats right, you did not read it wrong, it really is chocolate bubble wrap. Well, its chocolate that looks like bubble wrap which is just as effective. It comes in various different flavors and apparently tastes as good as it looks.

You may not be able to pop it but the fact that it is chocolate and looks cool should compensate for that.

Flow - Now Available on PS3!

Flow - Now Available on PS3!
I told you this game is gonna be super popular! This is what I wrote about Flow a while ago when I reviewed it in our addicting games section:

Flow is the most aesthetically pleasing flash games I’ve ever seen. It’s basically a game that never ends - Your goal is to eat smaller units, when you’re ready to swim deeper, eat the red units, when you want to go back to shallow water, eat the blue ones.

Now that Flow has become globally known, and is even out on the PS3 game console, look what others are saying:

here is something visually inspiring about the simplicity and fluidity of the game play… particularly using the ps3 controller over the flash version. Playing it on a 42” in HD and surround sound is stunning, and you really can lose yourself in the space for hours… it would make the ultimate interactive projection wall in the future studio.
