James Doohan, who played the engineer “Scotty” in the original Star Trek series, died in July 2005 at the age of 85. Now the remains of his body will be blasted into space later this month (April 28) on a rocket ship launching from New Mexico.

The remains of some 200 others will join Doohan on his final journey.
