So wrong, so rude, yet so genius.

Japan even builds people better than us! Eight Year old Japanese guitar playing phenom Yuto Miyazawa was on Conan O’Brien last night and brought the house down with Crossroads by Eric Clapton. He completely butchered the lyrics, which are in some strange English Japanese gibberish, but his shredding is impressive nevertheless. When I was eight I still wore water wings and occasionally swallowed small coins; this kid is melting faces. Yuto is gonna be bigger than Godzilla and insert Japanese stereotype here combined.

Far be it from me to repeat myself insofar as posting movie trailers, but … it’s Saw V. It is Saw V with Tobin Bell even though the beloved, sadistic, yet oddly philanthropic Jigsaw is dead.

The premise: someone discovers Hoffman’s secret, so naturally, he goes on a manhunt filled with a gleefully gruesome array of terror traps and torture devices. People are saying that Saw V is evocative of the original, with an evolution of blood, guts, and gore. Set, of course, to come out in later October of this year, it’ll be in theatres just in time for Halloween.

Jigsaw/John is the only movie madman who was ever able to steal away even a sliver of my undying devotion for Anthony Hopkin’s sauve, rasping Hannibal Lecter. Although a lot of folks are probably getting tired of the Saw movies, I myself find them a thrilling mix of artistic tone and an almost romantically morbidity.

Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong will hit the road again together after years of verbal sparring, and are set to officially announce their plans later this week at Troubador in West Hollywood, where their act became popular in the early 70’s. The stoner stand-up pair already have a stop in San Jose planned for November 30th.

How could these two possibly re-hash (pun!) their old material. Why don’t they just drag the lifeless corpses of Laurel and Hardy out on stage and all four of them can beat a dead horse.

Well, too bad. The trailer got leaked during a recent Comicon, it was all over the place. And then, Marvel canned it. Of course they did. Why should they want to make us happy? Go ahead, look for it on YouTube. All you’re going to see is a bunch of messages telling you that the videos have been taken down due to a copyright claim by a third party. In other words, you just got reamed without the courtesy of a reach-around, and you’re just going to have to wait.

You have to wonder about Madonna. Some people are claiming that she’s seriously sick, others insist that this is a case of cosmetic surgery gone terribly wrong. Her rep, naturally, insists that all of the pictures showing Madonna looking so emaciated have just been Photoshopped all to crap. If that’s the case, then whoever did this needs to start exploiting their talent for money.

I have some other theories. 1. Seeing how much publicity Amy Winehouse is getting for looking like the walking dead, Madonna is trying to boost her career by looking like a zombie. 2. She is trying to bring back heroin chic. 3. She is attempting to make her adopted son feel more at home by looking like a starving, albino Ethiopian. 4. Her daughter’s mustache is making her sick.
